1. 다음 형태로 끝나는 단어는 주로 명사

-tion/-sion ; production, information, decision

-ance/-ence ; appearance, circumstance, preference

-ment ; announcement, department, requirement

-ity/-ety ; productivity, flexibility, authority, safety

-er/-ee/-or ; manufacturer, employee, employor, investor

-ness ; kindness, competitiveness, effectiveness

-ant/-ent ; applicant, client, attendant

* -al ;

appraisal 평가, approval 승인, arrival 도착,

removal 제거, renewal 갱신,

withdrawal 인출 포기 퇴각, proposal 제안 제안서

 

 

2. 명사의 역할

1) 주어 역할; 동사 앞

2) 목적어 역할; 타동사 or 전치사 뒤(전명구; 전치사+명사)

3) 보어 역할; 2형식 문장은 동사 뒤, 5형식 문장은 목적어 뒤

 

 

3. 명사 자리

• 형용사 + 명사 : new hat

• 소유격 + 명사 : my book
  
• 명사 + 명사 (복합 명사) : advertising company
  
• 명사(선행사) + 관계 대명사 : someone who ~ .

4. 빈출 사람 가산 명사
